Read the pointers carefully for more precise details. Research The very first step of creating any application irrespective of what nature and purpose it might have is for you to research immensely about the industry, the current range of the marketplace, the features offered by currently available applications, and how you can take things up a notch by improving what you already have created.  Documentation  After you have completed the first phase of it through intense research, you need to start documenting every single aspect of the application, whether it is the ideas or the features incorporated or the difficulties that you think you might come across. Having it all sorted down will make things a lot easier for you. Coding for Backend By this point in time, you must be completely clear of what you need to create, and sensibly, the next step is just getting started with the physical implementation. Start writing the code for the back end where you can add the provision for functionality and effective features. You might see yourself in the initial stages of development in the application, but the backend is something that is going to be with you till the end and Hence, it is essential to use state-of-the-art technical support for the best possible results. Designing After you have worked extensively on the backend, the next step is to start working on the user interface as well as the design of the application for making it friendly and easy to use, which will attract more users.  Prototype After the front-end and backend have been created, the next obvious step is to test the prototype in order to make sure nothing goes out when you are ready to work on the rest of the aspects of the application. Testing After the Prototype has been tested, you can start working on the real deal; since you’re familiar with most of the operations and steps of the application, this is the phase where you can step up and save considerable time and head on to testing the application as soon as it is done. Fixing Bugs and Maintenance It is quite normal for you to come across certain bugs in the code which might create nuisance in the further stages. Nip them in the bud so that your application is ready to be deployed real soon. Other than this, you need to come up with occasional patches of code to help your application progress and improve on the go while it is live. These patches are usually added after taking into consideration the experience of the users from their feedback. Buyk’s Ultra Fast Grocery Delivery Services – How Does Buyk Work https://oyelabs.com/how-does-buyk-work/ Fri, 24 Sep 2021 13:35:26 +0000 https://oyelabs.com/?p=9901 The term “Dark Stores” has an ominous, almost dystopian ring to it.  Dark Stores represents one of the numerous innovative ideas and concepts that have assisted numerous retail businesses to remain afloat during the pandemic. When times are tough, business owners are forced to be innovative. We’ve seen this all over the place in the last year, from hotels turning empty rooms into co-working spaces for the WFH-crowd to restaurants offering takeaway menus and home delivery.  Many retailers have also transformed their physical locations into “dark stores,” in keeping with this trend. Even though people were forced to stay indoors, they continued to consume. Despite the fact that many people’s incomes have declined, global shopping volumes have increased, with the retail sector’s market capitalization increasing by 35% between February 2020 and April 2021.  Despite this, a large number of retail establishments are experiencing financial difficulties. What, then, distinguishes the top performers from the bottom performers? According to McKinsey, “In many cases, the strengths enabling some companies to surpass their industry peers—tech-forward and asset-light business models propelled by the tailwinds of growing demand—became even more important during the crisis.” One way retail stores have satisfactorily managed to adapt to the pandemic is to “go dark.” And when that is not the case — many new stores have emerged out of the blue and offer on-demand grocery delivery services.  One of the most notable ones is Buyk! What is Buyk? On September 14th, the ultra-fast grocery delivery startup Buyk began operations in New York City. On September 14th, the company announced that it had begun delivering in Manhattan. Earlier this year, the founders of Russian fast-grocery chain Samokat, Rodion Shishkov and Slava Bocharov, revealed that they had raised $46 million for a US launch of their company Buyk. Using the Buyk business model, deliveries are guaranteed within 15 minutes by using hyperlocal dark stores located throughout the city. Items are retrieved in 2 minutes after customers place their order and delivered by bike couriers (referred to as “buyers”) in 5-10 minutes to the customer. Buyk’s service is currently available in Manhattan, and the company says it plans to expand to all five boroughs of New York City by the end of the year. In 2022, the company plans to expand to other major US metro areas, including California, Florida, Massachusetts, and Illinois. Buyk is the latest in a long line of quick-grocery players to expand into the New York market. JOKR, Gorillas, and Fridge No More are just a few names that have come out this year. With goPuff’s 500-city blitz and goPuff, there will be five dark store/fast grocery players in the Big Apple by 2021. How Does Buyk Work? Buyk follows the dark store business model by creating dark stores to make it as simple as possible to fulfil online orders. Although some have aisles and shelves like a regular store, they lack the signage and displays that you would find at your neighbourhood retailer.  Some dark stores resemble warehouses. Robots may be used to pick and pack customer orders if they are completely automated. Some businesses use a hybrid approach that includes self-driving carts that collect items and then send them to workers who prepare the order for delivery. But that is not how Buyk Works.Buyk follows a more low-key approach where small store rooms are created in various places in the city that stock and shelf goods and groceries. These storage units are handled by dedicated store managers. So every time an order is placed, Buyk’s smart algorithms automatically assign the delivery duty to the nearest delivery personnel, or as they call them, Buykers — who would go to the nearest store for pickup and deliver the order within 15 minutes or less. Because these dark stores aren’t retail establishments that deal directly with customers, they aren’t bound by the laws governing their hours of operation. Customers’ orders are frequently picked up overnight and in the morning, with inventory being replenished in the afternoons.  There are multiple trips made by trucks to get orders to customers throughout the day, so they can be delivered as quickly as possible. What’s The Purpose Of A Dark Store Like Buyk? Brands can stock more inventory in dark stores than they can in a brick-and-mortar location with limited storage. Dark stores helped merchants with physical locations during the COVID-19 pandemic provide contactless delivery and pickup options to their customers. One or more dark store locations have proven to improve order accuracy, speed up fulfilment time, and provide additional space for inventory for many merchants in the long term. As an added benefit, it’s a great way to deliver orders to customers more quickly by providing various delivery options Who Should Open A Dark Store Like Buyk? A dark store is an excellent choice for any retailer who needs more options and space to fulfil a large number of online orders in their physical store. Due to the pandemic, e-commerce grew rapidly this year and is expected to continue growing in the future.  Retailers who previously relied solely on selling products in a physical location can now quickly increase their online sales by converting their physical space(s) into a warehouse to quickly fulfil orders and store more inventory. Why Should You Open A Dark Store Like Buyk? Most likely, you’ll pass a sign that says “Online-Only” on your way to work or home. In response to COVID-19, major retailers including Walmart, Whole Foods Markets, Kroger, and Bed Bath and Beyond are experimenting with dark stores as a part of their overall sales strategy.  Giants may enjoy dark stores, but they aren’t the only ones. Small businesses are also experimenting with this concept, and they will reap the benefits as the number of their customers grows while the cost to reach them decreases. Below, you’ll see some of the benefits that retailers can get from having dark stores: Stocking Spaces The interior space is designated for inventory storage in these dimly lit shops. […]

How To Create An OnlyFans App Alternative in 2025 https://oyelabs.com/create-onlyfans-app-alternative/ Mon, 30 Aug 2021 03:37:55 +0000 https://oyelabs.com/?p=9383 There are a bunch of content-sharing platforms that allow creators to make money online. As a result, OnlyFans is the least popular option because it allows creators to upload any kind of content, including pornographic content, and get paid for it. While sex workers have been using OnlyFans to make money since 2016, celebrities such as Cardi B and Bella Thorne have also used it to make a decent cash. Besides these celebrities, other people generally have their fans subscribe to them on OnlyFans where they promise their fans exclusive content. However, as per the latest news, OnlyFans bars the explicit content on the platform. So It’ll be illegal for creators to post sexually explicit content on the company’s website, which many sex workers use to sell fans explicit content, starting in October.  Nevertheless, as long as they comply with OnlyFans’ policy, they’ll be able to post nude photos and videos to an extent. This step taken by OnlyFans has left a number of ‘content’ creators baffled and therefore they have been constantly on a lookout for an alternative to OnlyFans which they can use in case OnlyFans completely shuts down the sharing of explicit content on their platform. This opens a wide opportunity for people who want to build an OnlyFans Clone and have content creators share their content there. So if you are looking for an idea about how to build an OnlyFans alternative — read on! What Exactly Is OnlyFans? British entrepreneur Tim Stokely founded OnlyFans in 2016. Its main objective is to assist content creators and artists in “monetizing their content while developing authentic relationships with their fanbase”. Users can post content behind a paywall, which fans must subscribe to in order to view.  If they wish, they can also “tip” to have content created on demand that is specifically tailored to their interests and tastes by paying more to communicate with the creators. Social media users flocked to it to pay for exclusive access to photos, videos, and other content during the pandemic. More than 130 million people have joined OnlyFans. However, this increased attention has prompted OnlyFans to position itself as a forum more for musicians, fitness instructors, and chefs rather than sex workers, However, a number of mainstream celebrities, such as Bella Thorne, Cardi B, and Tyga, have also set up accounts on the site to post videos of themselves engaging in sexual behavior A growing number of banking partners and payment providers are pressuring the company to make changes, the company claims. OnlyFans is trying to raise $1 billion from outside investors and as their content guidelines must be updated to ensure the long-term viability of their platform so that they can continue to host a diverse community of creators and fans, the company’s founder has decided to take this step. How To Create OnlyFans App Alternative Come Up With A Better Idea The first step would be to come up with a better idea than OnlyFans which has better, richer features that you can use to lure customers into using your product.  The reason is pretty simple, you want people to use your app, you have to give them something better than what they already have. Validate The Need Of Your App Using validation, you can determine whether or not there is a market for your app. Using the Google Keyword Planner tool, you can find out how many people are searching for what you’re trying to do. You could also create a landing page that summarises your app idea and ask users to sign up for an email list to learn more. Figure And List Out The Features Of Your App If your app idea has been validated, then you’ve got something that people want to use and want to pay for. If you want to go the extra mile, you can use a wireframing tool at this point. Remember to be as specific as possible when putting your idea on paper. The user’s journey through the app should be described in detail, along with all of the content-sharing app features envisioned. Your developer will be able to better understand what you want. Get Rid Of All The Non-Essential Features As you review your flow and features document, look for features that you can remove. Offer only your app’s core value. Features that are “nice to have” but can always be added later as an update should not be included in the first version. As a result, you will be able to reduce the initial costs of development and get to market faster. Remember, Design Comes First Numerous entrepreneurs have stated their desire for a very simple design and a focus on developing an app. They’re all so mistaken! A user’s experience is just as important as the app’s appearance when it comes to designing it. Design is a way to make technology useful, says Vinod Khosla of Khosla Ventures. Find a developer who prioritizes design (user experience and graphics).  And Then Hop Onto The Development Part Look for an app development company that has a solid design team and a solid development team to help you out. Go online before hiring a developer to verify their credentials and the apps they have created. Chances are, if you liked one of their apps in their portfolio, they’d be a good fit for you. Launch, Feedback & Improvise App store users’ usage and behavior will give you insight into how to improve and enhance your app once it’s live on the app store. Keep an eye on user feedback and continue to build. This is why it is always advised to start out by making a simple MVP with must-have features and later on add in other premium features as per the feedback received.  Only the core offering was included in the first version, which had limited functionality. Time to evaluate and introduce the remaining features that were left out in the initial version of the application If the features […]

How To Build Laundry App Like Cleanly – On-Demand Lawncare Business https://oyelabs.com/build-laundry-app/ Mon, 26 Jul 2021 14:10:25 +0000 https://oyelabs.com/?p=8943 Know why people use an on-demand application? On-demand online laundry applications, such as Cleanly or Rinse? With the increasing availability and a busy lifestyle, people prefer to do things via an app. We have found a report by Grand View Research, a company with accurate analysis and market information. It states that in 2019 the market size of the global dry cleaning and washing services was estimated at USD 60.88 billion, and the annual growth is expected to be 3.4 percent between 2020 and 2027. One of our Saudi Arabia customers came up with an idea, after realizing the potential of on-demand laundry services in his country and town. The idea of developing on-demand washing apps. The idea was to develop a washing application called Cleanly which brings washing and dry cleaning to the door. After the project has been successfully finished, we have realized our development expertise and developed Android and iOS based mobile applications to support laundry service providers that plan to connect to their businesses. So, What Is Cleanly? On average, one person spends about 10 hours washing his clothes every month. Individuals can use the app, such as Cleanly, to save time and solve these problems with just a few taps. In a matter of 24 hours, the users can schedule a time and the laundry service providers can pick up, wash, fold and return the items. This even makes it easy for users to automate the chain according to the logistics while they remain in the competition. Many types of home services apps are becoming popular recently, such as on-demand laundry, dog-walking, volunteer commitments, and more. The main aim is to offer time-saving and hassle-free delivery features. It’s extremely easy to work around, the best thing about being Cleanly. Benefits Of An App Like Cleanly? Benefits For The Consumers By tapping several buttons on a smartphone, you’ll make a nice night with your favorite movie and not your favorite pants and an unpleasant task. The full cycle approach of laundry companies on request allows customers to book and pay for cleaning their clothes.  Additional options for apps for dry cleaners and other laundry services include a variety of scents or free chemical cleaning to ensure that people get exactly what they want. Benefits For The Laundry Businesses For traditional laundries, the construction of an app means increasing the visibility of the brand and the growth of customer base, leading to greater sales. Applications, however, also help optimise business processes.  You can allow your application to streamline all these processes instead of manually filling in customer data, label orders, and establish schedules and paths for the collection of dirty laundry and clean laundry. Benefits For The Laundry Aggregators Creating an application for laundry businesses is a great opportunity for big business to try out their hand. The main benefit of laundry aggregators is that the company owners do not have to invest in the purchase and rent of laundry equipment. In order to serve their purpose and create an app that brings laundry suppliers together in one place, companies can simply negotiate with local laundries.  A startup can therefore invest more money to promote its brand, monitor customer feedback, and enhance the app to meet customer requirements. How To Build Laundry App Like Cleanly? Step 1 — Project Planning After you get the idea, the first step to do anything new is to plan. You must work on the details once you have thought of an idea, you must answer some questions like: What is the aim of the app? In your app, what kind of features do you want? What can you do better than your competitors, who are they? What are the unique features in your app? Step 2 — Financial Budget Planning You can plan your budget now that you have a better understanding of your requirements. You have to align your budget to your needs. You will have a lower budget if you require a simple app with just the necessary features. The budget is greater if you need a unique app with advanced features. We can give you a free quote if you need to know how much money you should spend on your project. Contact us and let us know something about your project. Step 3 — Deciding The Project’s Scope The next step is to create a project scope after determining your requirements and budget. You have to plan how much money and resources you allot from app development to deployment. You need to hire one of the best mobile development companies with experience developing these apps so that you don’t encounter any long-term problems. All formalities such as the NDA for the mobile app idea and terms and conditions will then be discussed. Step 4 — The Development The app development company, like ours, appoints experienced application developers and designers. By following best design practices, app designers create mock-ups and prototypes and get their approval from you. The developers then develop the app according to your needs. Our Quality Assurance team monitors and fixes any bugs in the app. Our team has developed many100% bug-free final products that run smoothly on all platforms and devices. Step 5 — Deployment Of The App The last step is to deploy the application on platforms such as the Apple App Store and Google Play. Before deploying the app, we will submit all the data and documentation. In fact, if you want us to, we take care of all the formalities required by the app market. 20 Must-Have Features For a Successful Instacart Like Shopper App https://oyelabs.com/features-for-a-successful-instacart-like-shopper-app/ Fri, 09 Jul 2021 06:38:43 +0000 https://oyelabs.com/?p=8779 Whether you’re a start-up company or a top contractor, We’ll help start your online grocery and e-commerce app in a few days’ time. Our customized grocery application will help you get started. In this blog, we will discuss the essential features for a successful Instacart like shopper app. Build a powerful yet smooth online ordering system for your foodstuffs with a mobile application. Our customized food app is a fully functional app that enhances the online ordering experience of your customers. In the US, an estimated USD 57.1 billion in 2020 will be spent on an online market for foods and a 28.8% market share, the survey reports. Instead, with projections of $110 trillion and 20.5 percent up, China, the world’s second-largest economy, will become one of the world’s largest online food markets. See also: Cost to Build an App Like Instacart Instacart Business Model And the online foodstuffs industry has become a promising industry for businesses with the Covid-19 pandemic attack. Combining consumer interest to prevent orders to stay home and the constant demand for food and essential products has suddenly increased demand for food supply apps such as Amazon, Grofers, Instacart, and even Walmart. In the past customers resisted online shopping, but pandemics have forced many people in various countries around the world to change their shopping psychology and speed things up. So, What Is Grocery Delivery Exactly? As the name implies, food supply applications can be delivered to customers by ordering food products (or other products). The service itself is of course nothing new, but it has been increasingly affordable and therefore spread through the move towards mobile devices. You don’t need to be able to employ a domestic worker to supply food; you are only a couple of taps away. In short, the development of food supply apps is similar to any other application providing on-demand services. For instance, Uber. Uber also has its own food supply service on demand, Uber Eats, in fact. Uber Eats is one of your biggest competitors, along with Instacart and Postmates, if you choose to join the food supply business in the USA. But with a good team, you can probably take these giants if you develop your app the right way. Two applications — one customer app and a separate local delivery app for those making the delivery — usually include an online delivery service. On the other hand, a supplier in the vicinity who sees the order within the delivery app accepts and completes the order, supplying the product to the customer when he places an order in his app and pays for it. Technically, the features required by customers and delivery personnel can be combined in the same application but that makes your app lengthy. This approach is hardly effective. How Does InstaCart Work? Instacart allows customers to shop in local food stores via their website or mobile app and to create a virtual shopping cart that a “staff shopper” will later fulfill on a specific day. Instacart typically provides same-day delivery to customers needing food sooner rather than later within a five-hour window. Shoppers can take the order to the store of their choice and then deliver the order in their own car each day – or you can plan a delivery order on a different day in advance. Since Instacart does not sell foodstuffs itself, your buyer will notify you in the app of something that you have purchased that is out-of- stock or unavailable. Features For a Successful Instacart Like Shopper App Social Login It is very obvious why we need social login features in our apps in a world dominated by social media. Customers are encouraged to open their services via all applications and websites. Both companies and customers are helped by accounts to monitor their things.  On the other hand, the tracking of all their accounts of different websites and applications is really difficult for clients. This is where logins into social media help. Only one ID is used by customers, and companies get all the required information. So you must log in to your app for social media. Smart Search Think of a scene: You have thousands of goods, but from that pile, customers can’t find one. It means you’re worthless of thousands of products. You must have an intelligent search engine with the needle in the haystack and the like and related items displayed. Google is doing its thing like that. The integration of intelligent search into your food supply on-demand app is therefore inevitable. Single Click Add To Cart Customers will perform one of two things after searching. Either now or later he decides to purchase a particular product or he does not purchase it at all. So, if you wish to buy a specific product now, it really helps to add a 1 click To cart feature.  When customers don’t need to go to a separate page or click, their interest in shopping is not lost. You are encouraged to browse more things with the functionality of 1 click Add To Card. In addition, it can display the total value of the cart and help clients monitor their budget. Favourite, Popular & Recommended Sections If you favor a photo on Instagram or like a post on Facebook, it will improve user experience by adding a star or adding it to a favorite list. As a company, you have a clear understanding of customers’ likes and dislikes. Also if the shop’s Trend Articles or personalized ‘Recommended For You’ have a ‘Popular’ section, it will become a win-win for all parties concerned with food delivery applications on demand. Deals, Offers & Vouchers The deals and discounts are one of the main reasons why clients place online orders on this app. You most likely visit this section when you open the app when you have a separate section for ongoing deals and offers from your store. The integration of loyalty bonus codes and loyalty programmes like PayBack is a great […]
